Last night, Carlisle High School hosted its 4th Annual College Night, welcoming representatives from colleges and universities nationwide! Students and parents had an incredible opportunity to gather valuable insights on college life, admissions, and the exciting paths ahead.

Shakespeare Festival
At Carlisle Jr. High, we are working to support our students’ social and emotional health.
As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re teaching students how to appreciate the positives and show gratitude. And we are also supporting resilience by learning healthy ways to cope during difficult times.
Parents and Staff,
This afternoon, services for Lane Waggoner will be held at the Gospel Barn in Troup, Texas beginning at 2:00 PM. Students and staff will be released and busses will run according to the following schedule:
Life Skills 11:30
Elementary 11:50
Junior High 11:55
High School 12:00
A lunch will be provided to all students before we release. All after school athletic and UIL practices have been cancelled.

Junior High UIL students were given a document that outlines the specific contests they will be competing in at SFA on November 20th. This document is very important, because it provides essential details for parents about what to expect on the day of the event, including guidelines on appropriate attire and SFA’s expectations for our students as guests on campus. Please ensure that your student’s signed permission slip is returned to the school by November 8th.
Students registered for Ready Writing and Editorial Writing have also been given a separate document with information on what to expect, as they will be competing here at Carlisle Junior High.

With representatives from over 35 colleges, universities, and trade schools, this event is a fantastic opportunity for students to explore career paths and set educational goals. We hope to see you there, Wed., November 6th from 6pm - 7:30pm!

Carlisle ISD is deeply saddened to announce that we had a high school student involved in a one-vehicle accident early this morning. Tragically, this student has passed away due to his injuries. There were no other students involved in this wreck. For the respect and privacy of the student's family, we are not releasing the student's name on the school Facebook page. Please keep all our students and staff members in your thoughts and prayers as we try to make it through the day today. Also, keep the student's family in your thoughts and prayers as well. It's a tough day here at Carlisle. We are one big family here and we will lean on each other for support.
We have brought in additional counselors today for extra support for any student who may need it.

The Carlisle Indian band performed in the UIL State Military Contest at Baylor's McLane Stadium this morning. Results will be released later this evening.
