Mrs. Gipson's Health Science program learned hands-on CPR, AED training, and the Heimlich this month. Students used CPR mannequins donated by Region 7 Education Center and the new ACT Fast Med anti-choking training device purchased by CISD through the CTE grant. All students who passed the graduation requirement received a CPR face shield courtesy of the CTE Health Science Grant.

ATTENTION PARENTS: In 2 weeks, Carlisle High School will be hosting a time for parents to come in and complete their FSA ID's. This is the digital signature required to complete a FAFSA. All you need is a cell phone, email, and about 15 minutes to complete the process. All parents are encouraged to complete an FSA ID if they have a graduating senior (This is NOT the actual FAFSA -- that will come later in the Spring). The event will take place on Wednesday, November 8th from 4:30pm to 6pm in room #509 at the high school (Mr. Jones's classroom). It's a come and go event. We hope to see you there!

Carlisle High School seniors ranked in the top 25th percentile were extended an exclusive invitation to join in a special celebration at the University of Texas at Tyler on Wednesday. Not only is this an incredible honor, but it also comes with the opportunity to receive a generous $2,000 scholarship which is renewable for 4 years as long as students maintain the scholarship criteria. We couldn't be prouder of our remarkable seniors! This is just the beginning of their incredible journey. 🌟 #CarlisleSeniors #UTTylerScholars
