"Small School with Big Dreams"
Our Sports Medicine Department - Athletic Training Students attended a Continuing Education Event by CHRISTUS Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute. They had the opportunity to learn and participate in engaging on topics such as Nutrition, Sports Psych: Coping Strategies for Athletes, Late-Stage Rehab Techniques, and Recovery for Athletes.
These students you see handling water on our sidelines are more than that. These students work hard and learn every day about the importance of Athletic Training and help to take care of our athletic student body here at Carlisle ISD. Opportunities like this help us teach them and allow them to learn from other healthcare providers and continue their education and passion for healthcare. The Sports Medicine Department thanks the district for letting us keep inspiring these students and having a good time while appreciating everything they do.
