Carlisle ISD has been informed of 3 HS students who have tested positive for COVID. The students were last on campus on September 14, 2020. We have cleaned and sanitized the areas of the campus where the students had contact. Out of an abundance of caution, we are asking all of our staff and students to continue monitoring their health and checking for symptoms on a regular basis.
HOME tickets for Friday night’s game vs. Timpson will be on sale in the administration building on Wednesday Sept. 16, 2020 from 9:00-11:00am. Ticket purchases are limited to 2 per person. $5 each. Cash only.
A limited number of tickets are available for students to purchase in the JH and HS offices.

As indicated at the beginning of the year, there are continuously changing factors that impact us on a daily basis. As a district, we look at these routinely to make the best decisions for our students, their families, and our staff. The re-entry plan is an active document that has the potential of changing due to the context of the current pandemic. Please note the following revisions to the plan:
1. Beginning Wednesday, September 16, all elementary students will be required to wear masks for the entirety of the day. This includes Head Start students through fifth grade. Breaks will be given, only when students are able to social distance. This decision was not made lightly, but we feel that it is in the best interest of our students.
2. The current COVID 19 response chart has been streamlined into one document.

Thank you for your continued support this year. We appreciate all of your support in this matter. Today, your child will bring home a letter for your information. This letter includes reminders for this year, as well as new procedures that will begin tomorrow, Sept. 16, 2020 for all elementary students.

TXDOT will be completing road construction on the culvert, near FM 13 in front of the administration building on Monday, Sept. 14th. Please be advised that due to construction, this may result in a full or partial road closure during morning and afternoon routes.

The staff member was last on campus on September 10. This staff member does not work in a classroom setting. The areas of the campus where the staff member had contact are being deep cleaned.
Out of abundance of caution, we are asking all of the students and staff to continue monitoring their health, checking for symptoms, and following daily protocol.

We have approximately 25-30 HOME tickets remaining for the Varsity football game vs. Alto tomorrow night, Sept. 11, 2020. These tickets will be sold in the Administration building from 9am-2pm tomorrow. We will not hold tickets. It is a first come-first serve situation due to the limited amount of tickets remaining. There is a 3 ticket limit per person. Cash or check only. $5 per ticket.
The Junior High Volleyball game on Monday, Sept. 14, 2020 has been moved to Carlisle vs. Union Hill beginning at 4:30pm . Tickets can be purchased online starting Friday, September 11, 2020 at 8am. Please visit our online tickets page, which can be found by going to the Menu tab on the CISD webpage, click Extra-curricular, and then click Athletics. We will have to make up the day of instruction that we lost due to closure caused by the potential weather threat from Hurricane Laura. Therefore, we will use September 21 for this purpose.
Originally, September 21 was a scheduled professional development day for teachers. Now it becomes a regular day of instruction for students and staff.

Tonight’s JV game at 5:30pm has been moved to Troup due to weather. All tickets purchased online will be honored by Troup.
