Carlisle Junior High and High School cheer tryout results for the 2021-2022 school year.
As a reminder, we will have early release tomorrow, Friday March 12, 2021. Elementary will release at 12:50pm and Secondary will release at 1:00pm.
After discussion with the Board of Trustees and Administration, it has been decided that Carlisle ISD shall continue following all COVID 19 protocols that were put in place when school resumed in August. This includes face masks and/or coverings. All students, staff, and visitors to campus are to wear face masks and/or coverings.
These protocols will remain in place until further guidance is provided by the TEA. If the protocols are changed by TEA, the Board of Trustees will consider making any necessary adjustments.
We truly believe that the protocols we have been following have greatly reduced the impact of COVID 19 on our school. These protocols seem to have been instrumental in reducing the number of flu cases as well.
The Junior High Band will be having a concert tomorrow night, Tuesday March 9, 2021 in the Carlisle Gym beginning at 7pm.

Carlisle ISD is now accepting referrals for students who may need Gifted/Talented Services for the 2021-2022 school year. This program is designed for students who exhibit intellectual and creative thinking abilities at an extraordinary level not normally served in the regular classroom. Services are provided only upon identification of education needs of the student. Anyone wishing to refer a student attending Carlisle ISD in kindergarten through twelfth grade this school year is asked to call the student's campus office and request a copy of the referral form. This form must be completed entirely and returned to the school by April 1, 2021.
Both the HS Softball and HS Baseball games have been cancelled for today due to weather conditions.
HS Softball will make up their game tomorrow, Sat. March 6, 2021 at 12pm in Big Sandy.

Enrollment for Headstart, Pre-K, and Kindergarten classes for the 2021-2022 school year will be March 8-11, 2021 from 8:00-2:30pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you may be asked to wait in your car upon arrival and called when someone is available to assist you. Upon entering the building, you MUST wear a mask at all times. The JH Track Meet in Cushing scheduled for yesterday, Monday, March 1 has been rescheduled for Wednesday 3/3/21 with running events only and no field events. It is scheduled to start around 3:00pm.
Dear Parents,
Due to the magnitude of the transition, we are needing to extend the return date of all 3rd grade students to Thursday, February 25th. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we are working very hard to get everything in order for our students to return. Please continue working through the packets that were sent home on Monday. They will be due Thursday when you return to campus.

Carlisle ISD will resume classes tomorrow, Monday February 22, 2021 as normal except for the 3rd grade students. 3rd grade students will not be on campus tomorrow or Tuesday due to weather damages in your building.
3rd grade students will need to pick up their work by noon tomorrow and return it Wednesday when they are scheduled to return to school.

I hope you and your family have been safe and warm during this winter wonderland weather. Unfortunately due to the weather our 3rd grade building was damaged and is inaccessible. We are in the process of relocating classrooms in our other buildings. To allow for this transition, all 3rd graders will be instructed with learning packets for Monday and Tuesday, February 22nd and February 23rd. This means third graders will not be on campus these two days. The learning packets can be picked up in the drop off box in front of the school on Monday beginning at noon. All work will be due on Wednesday, February 24th on their first day back to school. Upon return, if your child is dropped off by car in the mornings they will meet in the library for holding room instead of the computer lab. Thank you for your patience and flexibility.
